Any ideas how to get foreigners to understand the tipping custom here? I don’t mean in a particular establishment, because every place will have its own protocol, but is there another way, say through a tourist bureau, to let tourists know that spending $200.00 and leaving $3.00 will not pay my rent? Sorry, and not to be politically incorrect, but often Asian tourists leave NOTHING, and I’ve worked an hour or more for free!

This might sound crazy but if we, the FOH got on twitter and complained about it over and over again, we might just make a diffrence. Am down…

Maybe we could keep detailed records of our deficient foreign tips and apply for a government bailout?
